Wrap Battle 2025 Terms and Conditions

  1. Instructions on how to enter this promotion form part of the terms and conditions of entry. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. The promoter is Avery Dennison Materials Pty Ltd ABN 92 007 706 934 of 4 Duigan Drive, Moorabbin Airport VIC 3194 (Promoter). The sponsors are Graphic Art Mart ABN 98 115 022 592, Spandex Australia ABN 55 088 162 038 and Ball & Doggett Pty Ltd ABN 58 005 190 036.

  3. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18  (Eligible Entrants).   Employees of the Promoter and the Promoter’s suppliers or the Sponsors conducting this promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

  4. The promotion will take place at 10:30 am AEST on 20 May 2025, continues through 21 May 2025 and closes at 4:30 pm AEST on 22 May 2025 (Promotion Period).  10 entrants will compete per day. The challenge will be held at Stand C18, The Dome, Sydney Showground Grand Parade, Sydney Olympic Part NSW 2127 (Promotion Site). 

  5. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, visit the website at https://www.trybooking.com/CZWFR and complete all of the relevant fields within the entry form. The first thirty (30) eligible applicants to complete the entry form will be selected to compete in the challenge. Available time slots will be shown to participants and need to be reserved at the time of entry.  By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Sponsors and the Judges, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Challenge. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set out in these terms and conditions.

  6. GOVERNMENT GIFT AND ETHICS POLICIES: The Promoter is committed to complying with all Federal, State and Territory Government (Government) gift and ethics policies. Employees and independent contractors of the Government  must adhere to gift and ethics policies applicable to them when entering the promotion or accepting any prize.

  7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant whom the Promoter believes either has tampered with the entry process or has submitted an entry otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. 

  8. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and not at the time of transmission by the Eligible Entrant. Any form of automated entry using other devices or software is invalid.

  9. The challenge is a game of skill and, save for the selection of the 30 Eligible Entrants chance plays no part in determining the winners.  Each entry will be individually judged based on quality of installation including straight cuts, sealed edges and overall surface appearance (wrinkles, glue lines, direct/debris)  (Judging Criteria). In the event of a tie in the scores for either the daily winner or grand prize winner, the tie will be broken using the final install time of the Entrant, and the Entrant with the highest overall score and lowest install time will be awarded the applicable prize.  

  10. In either case, the judge has the right to release or reserve their final scores and install times, but under all circumstances, the judge's voting totals and install times are final, constitute the official scoring and timing and will not be subject to challenge.  

  11. Each criteria will be assessed by the judging panel out of (10) points with the maximum total points being 33. Each day of competition the Eligible Entrant with the highest daily score as decided by the judging panel will win One $500 Visa/Mastercard gift card, One Avery Dennison Toolkit, One Avery Dennison Wrap Smarter T-shirt and One Avery Dennison Hat (Daily Prize Package). At the end of the Promotion Period the entrant with the highest total score will win One Wrap Battle Championship Belt. The total number of prizes is six (6) and the total prize value is approx. AUD$2,000.  Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.  

  12. Winners of the Daily Prize Packages will be announced at 4:30 pm AEST on the respective days of the competition and the Grand Prize Winner will be announced on 22 May 2025 at 4:30 pm AEST. All winners will be notified via email or telephone

  13. In the event that a prize is not claimed seven (7) days after the winner is announced the judges will select an alternate winner on the basis of the Judging Criteria.  In the event that the alternate winner does not claim their prize seven (7) days after the alternate winner is announced then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other prize will be awarded in lieu of that prize. 

  14. If the Promoter is unable to supply the nominated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply another prize of greater or equal value.

  15. All entries become the property of the Promoter.  The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.    

  16. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the Promoter. If Eligible Entrants miss their scheduled time slot, and there are no other available timeslots, they have forfeited their ability to enter the promotion. Entries will be deemed invalid if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Any incorrect details submitted may render the corresponding entry invalid.

  17. Eligible Entrants warrant that their entry in the promotion does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.  The Eligible Entrant indemnifies and will keep the Promoter and its associated agencies indemnified against any loss, costs (including legal costs), expenses or liability the Promoter and its associated agencies may suffer arising out of a breach by the Eligible Entrant of this clause.  

  18. The stated prize value is the recommended retail value (including GST) in Australia as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) and its associated companies accept no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. 

  19. Any costs associated with entering the promotion, including accessing any website, or the Promotion Site are the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant.

  20. These terms and conditions do not, nor do they purport to, limit, exclude or modify any non-excludable statutory  guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other warranties (whether express or implied) under any state or federal legislation which cannot be excluded.  

  21. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion including the Entrant’s participation or their use of the prize. 

  22. To the fullest extent permitted by law and without limiting any other terms and conditions of entry, the Promoter may, in its discretion, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. All Eligible Entrants participating in the promotion at the point of termination, modification or suspension of the promotion will be notified by the Promoter in writing. In the event of modification or suspension of the promotion, the Eligible Entrant may choose to terminate their participation in the promotion at no cost. 

  23. The Promoter assumes no responsibility, and the Eligible Entrant releases the Promoter from responsibility, for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the Eligible Entrant’s participation in this promotion or the conduct of the promotion generally or as a direct or indirect result of an Eligible Entrant’s error, any technical problem (including communications or network failure, unauthorised access to, transferral of, or theft of, data), whether caused by the Eligible Entrant, or associated with the equipment or programming used in the conduct of this promotion.  If, because of any such problem, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are compromised or affected, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or disqualify any Eligible Entrant involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion in any way.

  24. Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion.  By entering this promotion Eligible Entrants consent to the use of their information as described.  Eligible Entrants may access and/or change their data by following the procedures in the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available  at https://www.averydennison.com/en/home/legal-and-privacy-notices.html. The Promoter will only use an Eligible Entrants’ personal details for marketing purposes outside those described above if the Eligible Entrant “opts in” to join the mailing list when prompted.

  25. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  26. This promotion is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New South Wales and by entering the promotion, Eligible Entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New South Wales.
